1DMKIIN I like the most - the one I dislike is the 20D.

everytime I shoot with my 5D I think the sound and feel of the shutter is nice, better than any I've used....Weird, but when I've been shooting the mkIII for a few days then pick up the 5D I always think...wow, that sounds smooth

love the sound of my AE-1's.

I must agree. Absolutely love the AE-1's sound. Reminds... I still have film in it from months ago! :D

I just picked up a 40D and I think I read that the sounds on this and the 5D are suppressed. Funny, when bought my first SLR I thought the lens is what made the shutter sound.

I had the 300D, which I sold to my friend when I bought the 30D. The next time I heard the 300D shutter, I wondered if something was wrong. It sounded like it was half dead compared to the 30D.

I like the 10D sound. It's muffled and unobtrusive which makes it great for shooting in places where you need to be quiet.

Same here, one of the bigger reasons I still use one. Also have a 1D II, which is a great camera, but its shutter is more like an arrogant "I'm a dSLR, biatch!" cler-CHUNK. Sometimes, it's just not kosher.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)
