Since the wife inherited my old XTi she's really enjoyed learning how to use it. She's now challenged me to a picture a day type posting between she and I on our .Mac Galleries. I'm using it as an opportunity to learn teh 50mm on items I usually wouldn't shoot. Here's yesterday's entry. Of course C&C is always appreciated.

Heres a brochure that I shot with the 50 1.8.
The chromey SHAPE logo with the water drops was shot with the 90T+S as it was the only other lens I had at that time. :D

Absolutely stunning bathroom. Very well designed brochure, minimal, I like it.

Edit: here's a picture from a while back:

PS. I love this lens, I'm still a newb, but this made me feel like a pro today, so much more fun composing shots with this over the kit lens.

Even though this lens is cheap, I would not buy it for the sake of it.. I don't do low light phtography, so my 17-85 covers the focal length and more besides.

I don't do low light...i got it for the brilliant DOF it has! Plus it is nice and sharp, and very good little experimenting lens!
