Hello,
I decided to try some shots using the nifty fifty. This is on the new MINI Clubman. This lens never cease to surprise me just when I thought it's been relegated to the shadows by Ls.

Lastly I couldn't resist this chrome bit...

Sorry for the no-show. I believe zenfolio was having maintenance....

Do you think it's too dark? I had alot more fun using this lens than the 17-40L at the show for some reason.

the 1.8 is the "thrifty fifty." The "nifty fifty" would be the 1.4.

I'm confused... Your EXIF for the first pic shows PowerShot A640 as the camera used... I didn't know you could mount EOS lenses on PowerShot series cameras....

Oh and yeah.... Nice shots! :D

Oh! I think you may be right. I must've ran out of space to use the 50 1.8. so instead of switching lens to 17-40L, I popped out the a640. hahahha... ok I cheated. :(
Oh btw, this is with the old MK I circa late 1980s! :D
