I have had great luck with.... www.photofilter.com (external link)

Purchased several Hoya Pro-1's from them... JUST MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON THE PRICE TO SEE THE LOWER "IN-CART" PRICE

I use HV star as well. I found that their shipping is quite pricey though. I bought 3 x filters and 1 blower and it cost me $40 USD shipping. Still cheaper than others stores I have looked at though.

I agree HV star shipping is high. Don't impulse buy on cheaper items without shopping around. Because a $5.00 item extra in your cart will probally add more in shipping then the cost of the item. But it is hard to find a better deal on filter prices even with shipping.

Well, I do live in South Dakota. Otherwise known as the middle of nowhere. I am surprised that it only took a week to Orlando though.

Got a B+W 77MRC KSM CPL from HV Star of Hong Kong, it arrived within a week and at half the price of high street shops here. Will use them again! :)

Did you get charged duty and VAT by HM Customs? Also, how much did hvStar charge you for postage?

Thanks

Mike

:-)

Patrick, do you mean they won't recalculate the postage charge if you buy several filters? I'm thinking of getting several items, so if I have to pay multiples of $9.99 or whatever it is, it's going to mount up quite a bit.

They do not combine shipping charges for multiple items. So if a filter is $70, just think of it as being $80.

It still comes out a lot cheaper than almost any other source on most items.
