Got a 'Burb. She'll hold up to 8, plus freight, but ya gotta get here first... ;)

Geoff, have a 3 year old Cyberpack 8 we may be getting rid of. Decent shape. Interested?

Thanks for the offer FeXL, but I already have the Lowepro Computreker AW, which is very similar. The reason I'm looking at the Tamrac Adventure 9 or 10, is that they both offer storage area for camera equipement and for other things that a normal backpack would hold (jacket, lunch, etc.). Thus far, I'm undecided between the two.

Good idea about using a large van or similar if we do a trip like Kananaskis last year. As for the Cypress Hills and Writing on Stone.....well, there isn't much to see until you get closer to it. So it may not work for a large group. The option is still there I guess, if people are interested enough.

Hi all,
I am just checking web sites with different Alberta attractions. There is a Discovery Wildlife Park by Innisfail and then we could go to the Badlands by Drummheller.
Just an idea...
Once we have some more ideas, i will setup a poll.

How about it folks, any more thoughts out there? :D

Who all can make it? Where would you like to go? If you are like me and for the most part could care less, pipe in with that too.

I know it is 2 months away, so still lots of time to make a plan. :)

I'll probably make it, and I like the idea of getting a van to go party wherever.

I wouldn't mind hitting up the Badlands/Drumheller area this year.

Hmmm......Never gave the badlands area much thought until now. Could be an interesting possability.

I also agree with the idea about renting a van (or the likes) if we do a travel trip like last year. If we were to do that, perhaps we could all chip in for the cost, as that would make sense.

Yes that would be good. Down south is abit to far for me.

I really like all the ideas!

I'm actually spending the first weekend of May in Drumheller with my girlfriend. Maybe I can scope it out and get a head start! Maybe post some pics as a teaser of what's there?

We would be more than glad to have you. The more the merrier. :D

And congrats on your pregnancy. I saw the notice and the great self portraits you did, very nice.

If you have any thoughts as to where to go, throw them in the mix. By early June we will vote on what places to go see.

So, anyone else getting excited about this?

Any other suggestions or should we start putting something together with what we've got?

FeXL, we already figured out the when (June 21-22, 2008 )......now we just need to figure out the what. Thus far, two of the most popular ideas seem to be doing a group run over the weekend either down to the Pass, or to the Badlands area near Drumheller. I can't recall if there were any other ideas mentioned that have had alot of interest.
