so... ive got my first shoot lined up with a signed band. i have a generic model release that i use when shooting my basic portrait stuff... but im not sure this would work the same for this situation. the pictures will most likely be used as promotional shots for the band. ive tried searching for something online but have come up empty handed. if anyone has any info that will help, it would be appreciated.

I'd really recommend taking a basic release agreement and customizing it to fit your needs. I don't think I've ever used any documents off the web without customizing them before hand. If you can specify what wording you're specifically looking for in the contract, we might be able to find some examples for you.

If you want more detailed help, we really need more information. Ex: How is the agreement set up now? Are you doing this as "work for hire"? How do you want the rights and ownership of the photos to be distributed? etc.
