The theme for this week is "Fruit(s)." Interpret this any way you like, as different and unusual interpretations are always welcome.

Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between sunrise Monday and sunset the following Sunday. Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Crummy shots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e.,embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the rules can be found here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/...ad.php?t=51049

That's it! Have fun!

John B -- Once again, thanks for helping us out in my absence. :-D

As you can see by this post, I survived Earth Day 2008 in DC and returned home.
Despite 2 1/2 inches of rain :cry: I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I never saw the mall so wet before.
Well, for that matter, I never before saw so many wet people in one place at one time!

Nice shots so far!
Hope I play this week, but we have lots of grass to mow and other Springtime chores to do.

I now step down and give control to BLS

Glad I could help and glad you enjoyed your trip :)
Hint, throw an apple on the grass you have to mow and take a photo

Here is mine. I was going to submit a photo of a package of Strawberry jam from McDonalds and had the picture all taken and was leaving the room when I saw this.

penodr,
Wow, that looks good.
How did you get those apples to stay in that position? ???

Actually those "apples" are part of a fake apple tree. If you look closely you can see the stem coming down from the apples to the pot below.

This place is sooooo quiet.

I'm still hoping to get a shot today or tomorrow.
But, truthfully, I'm not counting on it.
Spring arrived here and I'm busy with lots of yard chores.

Hopefully I remember to shoot my chocolate covered strawberries tomorrow. I was attempting to make chocolate covered cookies, but I couldn't get it right =(. Not enough chocolate and the layer was too thick. Anyways, I gave up after dipping a few cookies and just used the rest of my chocolate to dip strawberries in it.

Look at all those fruits, now I'm curious, what is in that basket John? It looks like a tiny basket of goodies.
