How about the 400D body only? Anyone able to pull that one up?

I think Amazon caught onto what people are doing and changed the algorithm. The last two days I've gotten maybe one camera related item and a bunch of random trash (diapers? pencils? bug zapper? WTF?). There is absolutely nothing in my recommendations that could have triggered this junk to be in my quick picks.

Might be a good idea to purchase equipment at Gold Box prices now before the May 1st price hike. The items you want may not be in the upcoming rebate and that may not occur for a while since the last one just ended two months ago.

I think so too. The first week I used it, I was getting all camera gear.. 1Ds Mark III, 1D Mark III, 85L, 70-200L etc. everyday and now.. I either get one lens in about a week or not getting any camera related items for a week :(
I've been getting music CDs, temperature sensor, chainsaws, and grills this past week.. :(

Reset your Gold Box...

RESET YOUR GOLD BOX

for those getting random crap in their Gold Box deals, here's a trick that will reset your picks to what you want.

1. Go to recommendations
2. Click link that says "These recommendations are based on items you own and more."
3. Click each product that you used to get items in your Gold Box.
4. Scroll down to "rate this item to improve your recommendations" and de-rate and de-own it (it will save automatically).
5. Search for a similar product and rate and own it.
6. Next day your Gold Box should be filled with what you want.

Note: It appears if you don't take advantage of the Gold Box deals, that's when you'll start to see random crap after several days. Just reset it and voila!

I'm starting to wonder if it's not based partially of your browsing history... I was getting all camera gear, and only camera gear up until early this week I was browsing some books. Put them in my cart and realized I was $0.80 shy of free shipping, so I just ordered them from B&N where it was cheaper. Now my quick picks are full of books from that genre... and a lens hood.

OK, I'm a dum-dum apparently! I can't find where you "rate" your items. I've clicked on numerous "Details" pages, to no avail. All I get is another window that comes up with no place like that listed. HELP!!
