Will the kit lens from my Rebel EOS K2 fit and work right with my Rebel XT?? I was going through my old gear and came across my old Rebel and wondered if the kit lens would work on the XT? The kit lens for my old Rebel is a 28-80mm. If this would work on the XT that would be great!!!

Thanks for any advice that could be given!!!

No I didn't try it, I didn't want to break something.. LOL!! But I'm gonna try it. I got thinking. My 70-300 lens worked on my old rebel, so I don't see why the 28-80 wouldn't work? Both are Canon... I really do hope it works......

It's an EF mount so you shouldn't have a problem. Just make sure you match up the red dots.

BTW, your EF-S will NOT fit on the K2...if you try, you will damage the mirror.
