I know a few people have already posted some shots this years Grand Prix of Long Beach. Shot over 2500 photos kept 1302 edited 117.

All 117 can be viewed on my flickr page. click here! (external link)

I didn't have credentials like some on here had. All images were taken from the Super Photo Pass areas, I also shot some from the parking structure on the outside of the track at turn 5, the best part was it was freeeee!

I would like to thanks Aaron for lending me his 5D for saturday and sunday. I know Hate you(big grin from ear to ear). Holly crap what a difference full frame makes when looking through the view finder. SOOOOO much brighter clearer and easier to focus with.

Enjoy.

I think #5 is the best with good sense of speed and sharpness, most of the others looks a bit OOF.

Thanks guy, Yeah shooting from above them is tough to get a good shot out of. OOF huh? Yea but i was trying to get the shutter speed as low as I could handle. A lot of experimental shots were fired, along with another photog right next to with only a minimal amount of room to pan.

agree with he other guys #5 is the best, BTW maybe you should keep times a little bit higher, when all the car is on focus you could try with a lower time but maybe you just know that and you just wanna try with lower times, i don't know :D

some other pics seems to me a little bit overexposed #3 and #8 in particoular

Great shots Sevan! It was nice having someone to shoot with for the weekend. #5 really stands out from the group, and 7 i really like as well, maybe I'm just biased because I'm such a big fan of Randy Pobst. Maybe when I'm done with my finals I'll actually be able to get around to editing and posting up some pictures.

It twas fun to shoot with you as well Connor. Sucks randy came in second he totally had first till turn 2 or 3 on the first lap. Looking forward to seeing you shots. You should try to make it out to the Red Bull Air Race this weekend in SD. Gonna be a blast. I'll be down there both sat and sun.
