This set were taken at the A1GP promotion in London's Regent Street on Sunday 27th April, but I've only just got around to processing them. I have to confess that I'm not a fan of motorsports but I am very much a fan of photography and it's good for me to stretch myself by going out of my way to take pictures I wouldn't normally go for. I hope that those of you who are fans of motorsport and photography enjoy this lot.

Safety Car
To get a good shot of the safety car, I had to get in front of the other photographers, slowing them down somewhat. (Grin)
Grid Girl
There were many grid girls glad to pose for pictures.

I'd heard of his famous father Alain, at least. Let's hope the son can do really well, too.
Ferrari
A black Ferrari was parked in the enclosure where the TV guys were interviewing the team managers and drivers.
Car Abstract
Taking this picture on a bright day, close to the ground to catch the reflections, has resulted in an abstract with an almost brush-painted quality.
Emerson Fittipaldi
No need to introduce this guy. Brazilian winner of world championship Formula 1 races, Emerson Fittipaldi, was signing autographs for his fans just after being interviewed for television. I didn't have time to change lenses and he was so close his face filled my 70-300mm lens.
