Very cool. I have been telling my wife lately that I would like to get back to the Botanical Gardens. I would love to hit the Zoo while down that way as well.

Another trip that I would love to make is to the Sipsey Wilderness and take in some of the waterfalls. It has been quite a while since I was up that way shooting.

Yes, there are some wonderful waterfalls in the Sipsey Wilderness. Check out a couple that I have shot...

Now, these are just in one area, but there are so many more up there. There are about 100 total waterfalls in the area, some more impressive than others, of course, but there is enough there to keep someone busy for a while.

Check out these photos from the Sipsey Wilderness area. They were taken by some of the folks in the North Alabama Photographers Guild which meets in Huntsville. I am not a dues paying member, because I live so far away, but I am friends with several in the group and I was around when it was first started.

Yeah lets meet by the benches to the right of the main gates, across from the glass doors that lead to Cafe de France and the bathrooms.

Also we never finalized plans for after the gardens. I am thinking a couple hours there and then hit some other places. I would love to maybe hit 5pts or another high traffic area for some street shooting. Also I have shot a sloss recently and I wouldn't mind hitting that again.

Bump as a reminder. Can we get a head count.

Well, my wife and I are going... Hopefully we will not be late.

Looks like we will be meeting up at the map near the benches. We decide on a game plan?

I guess we can decide tomorrow. Did you have something else that you DEFINITELY wanted to go shoot?

These are a few from the Do Dah Day Parade

A shot of 1 of the 2 parks where the festivities took place after the parade.

I went and ate lunch and then came back and shot more, and I will come back and edit this post to add them. We seperated before lunch. I ended up shooting a few other things later that day as well.

I will post some of the botanical gardens as well. I didn't get a lot I liked there.

Scott, nice shots! I have not even looked through mine yet. That breakfast at Bogue's ROCKED my sox off!!! (For those wondering that is my plate Scott took a pic of.) We need to start planning another trip... Something cool this time. The doodah day was lots of fun! Maybe next time we can get some wilderness, waterfalls, and hiking!
