Just picked up the 100mm Macro, and all I can say is that I am more than impressed. The focusing is quite difficult and will take a lot of practice, but I am slowly getting the hang of it.

What do you mean focusing is difficult? Why is that?

It is hard for me because I am trying to use manual focus and the DOF looks so shallow through the viewfinder. It would probably help if my eyes weren't so bad :lol:

nice shot! sometimes it´s useful to fix the focus wherever U want and then move the camera forward or backwards to get the subject in focus.

i do that also...but my DOF is very thin, and a slight move, causes an eye OOF...lol
