Hi everyone. These are from my first engagement shoot last weekend. Thank you to everyone who suggested spots in Georgetown! The couple was really great. I would really appreciate C&C on these, because I have another session scheduled for next week. These are a few of my favorites, but I have a lot more, also ones in color.

Thanks! I use Lightroom, so most of my PP is done there. For this one, I used the split-toning feature of lightroom after converting to greyscale. Then I bumped up the contrast, the brightness, the blacks, and added just a touch of vignetting.

I bet you have something somewhere. I saw a photograph on here with a similar idea and was thinking the same thing...I need to find a bridge! Then I just happened upon one during this session. I wish it were a slightly smaller bridge, though. Maybe next time! :D

#2 - this is a fav, did you happen to catch them holding one another in the same spot...i bet that would be good too if you have one.

#3 - I love this one as well, it's a shot that I strive to get everytime!

Oh yeah, your 5D sucks...I think you need to sell it to me for $500.00....hehehehe.

My first post here. I love #3, there is something about the way the brick comes to focus with the couple, as if the couple is coming at you.

Nice series. Good composition. Great Job!

I wouldn't think your client would like #4, however. It makes her look a little, um, wide in the chassis. Perhaps have her turn slightly to him and it will help! Otherwise, really nice stuff! :D
