IMG # on CF Card

Few days ago a bought a 40D with ScanDisk Extreme III CF Cards (3).
After a few pictures the image # switched from IMG_00xx.jpg to _MG00xx.jpg.
I formated the CF cards a few times but the image # is still _MG00xx.jpg.

what's the problem? new naming convention isn't critical surely?

You have color space set to Adobe RGB instead of sRGB.
