RWB's are one of my favorite birds. nice capture :) .

Maybe it could use a little more sharpening.

Thanks... I had sharpened it a little, but I guess the JPG compression made a hash of it when posting

Interesting color on the wing. Here they are bright red, and not as orange as this one. Do you (or anyone else) know if the orange is a local variation?

If it were mine, I would crop some off the top and the right side so the bird is not dead center in the shot. Not much though, just a bit. Beautiful shot, love the background too!

Thanks, I like the background too. The bird's eye was at the top left interesection of the "rule of thirds" grid in Lightroom.

Hmm... wonder if it's a tri-colored blackbird instead... but those are only suppsoed to be in California
