Dave, you know I'm in. Just need time and place!

OK, I'll take the lead on this :) I can suggest a location/date and time but I would rather hear from you guys when it would be best (Thursday? Tuesday? etc). Also, knowing approx how many may attend would help in selecting a location (do we want to have dinner, just meet up and get to know who's who, mayeb at a park, etc). Send a PM with an email address and I will put together a group mailing list.

I am in the Knoxville area as well and it seems we have a large number of members from Knoxville or very close. Would there be any interest in having a large group meet-and-greet? Or possibly starting a Knoxville POTN group w/ regular get togethers for learning, sharing, activities. Seems like it would be lots of fun for all regardless of skill level.

I'd be interested as well.

Thanks,

I appreciate that...seems that where I live, they don't. I seem to suck at the marketing end of things. ;)

Anyone know of any photography jobs in nashville? I have the opportunity to move there, and have recently been laid off.

Well, unfortunately, no...Here in Nashville the Photogs out number the musicians right now. You would have to work another job to make a living here, now if you know any graphic design....you might find something.

Hello everyone,

I'm currently living in Phoenix, AZ but will be moving to Oak Ridge or NW Knoxville at the end of August.

Just wanted to say hello and see if I can get to know a few of you before we arrive.

Happy shooting!

Oh goodness. Don't get sucked in.

But I do love football season for one reason around here... shopping during the football games on Saturdays are absolutely fabulous... no lines or anything.

Just be sure to never go out to eat IMMEDIATELY after a football game or you will be waiting forever.

You'll love East Tennessee.

I think we still need to get a get together for us Knoxvegas peeps together sometime in the near future... especially the fall when the leaves start changing into those beautiful orange/red shades.
