On the second one, I've seen similar - try selecting a different focus point and shoot portrait to get a "longer" track shot. :)

yea i had just got that lens and was only messing around but yea next time i decide to make plans to got to the railroad ill make sure to get a bunch more at diff angles thanks thouugh
