I'm getting a license plat frame like that now. Only It'll read "My other car is a Canon" :D

Ok ok, I've got one. You still manage to notice the type and model of cameras and lenses people use while on your honeymoon.

is he pointing to tell you the light is green - or to distract from the fact he only has 1 working headlight?

he was actually pointing to a girl running across the street. He wanted me to turn around and take a picture, of which I did.

Honda bikes have the left headlight as the low beam and the right as the high beam.

ahhh I see
and I thought the rider never got around to replace it

imo, that's a flaw in design :)

..Uhm, when you have a dream about a lens you always wanted to have, and you wake up in the middle of the night, teary eyed.

THIS DID NOT HAPPEN TO ME. It happened to a friend of mine, yeah, a friend of mine.

I've wondered if I upgraded to eagle eyes would there be a bigger IQ difference, not just low noise in low light situations, to warrant being a mutant...

I find myself at a kids play or concert or some auditorium wondering if the ceiling is low enough to bouce a flash. I just wonder.

Yup, done that a few times. Checked the ceiling for bounce, and while the school band played their song I daydreamed about where to stand and which lens I'd use.

Along similar lines, you know you're photography crazy when you have a nice vacation rental with an exposed wood ceiling, and you're saying to yourself, "damn, now what do I use for bounce flash?"

...or the corollary, "What lens would best capture the grain and the pattern of the beams best?"
