I feel I have a lot to learn and would love to go on a course or two. I mainly photograph animals, wildlife and events (dog and horse). Does anyone have any recommendations of good courses or tutors?

Canon run a few, I seem to recall. Birds of prey, big cats, and weddings all ring a bell. Try their website for details.

The company is "Experience Seminars". They run courses in London, on-site in Huntingdon, Kew, etc. The staff are mainly made up of ex-Canon employees and are very knowledgeable.

I've attended two - the basic know-your-camera course a couple of years ago and the flash course earlier this year. I found them informative and enjoyable.
