I dont think he would go for that, here in Europe, the prices are already higher then in the states...
So, 1600 usd is a real bargain here for that body....

Another question, u could see the "paint" or a lack of, on the back of the body, can i do something about it?

If you are moving up from a non 1 series body, be prepared, you'll be blown away. I just got my 1DMkIIN yesterday, and WOW!!!!!! What a camera. Be prepared to read the manual though, it is quite a bit different than the xxD or xxxD series. It takes a bit of getting used to, but everything is laid out so logically.

Even if it died after you took one shot, you could get a new shutter for it and have an essentially brand new high quality camera for what's still a very nice price. What you have to keep in mind is, unlike the Rebels, the 1 series are actually worth shutter replacements.
