I think it's funny, but as a Mom to three, I deal with poop several times a day... It'd be a great bathroom shot. :P

It all started as a hobby with a Rebel XT & KIT lens. $5K worth of equipment & $0 of income later, all I have to show for it is a harddrive full of pictures and priceless memories!! Yeah it's still worth it :)

Playing with my new 85 1.2, interesting lens, long learning curve, a challenge hand held at 1.2 for some reason when at the close end of the focus range, I notice it'll chatter in the AF there and when it does it's imparitive to hit the star button to lock focus or it's probably going to come out soft. I couldn't figure out what was happening for a while, I thought at first I was unsteady but at a shutter speed of over 1000 that was unlikely.

An interesting lens, I bought it for shooting people and it's nice but not yet nicer than the 70-200 f2.8, I've got to be honest about that. It'll take time, I'm looking at it in a new light for shooting still lifes based upon what I've been noticing under really low light levels yet can still shoot at 200 sec with ISO 400 at f1.2. It makes the idea of a 35L as a sister lens a pretty good idea.

It's a different look than just putting the camera on a long exposure with an f 2.8 lens of the same focal length.

Anyway here's one shot at f1.4, no PP, just downloaded it into LR2Beta and sent it through Photobucket to here.

I love bokeh and it's the main reason I wanted a dslr but I can't seem to get it that well with the 18-55 kit lens with my XSi. How exactly do you get good bokeh? Isn't it with small aperture opening?
As you can probably tell, I need help :o
