using LR as default to import on a mac?

Not sure it this is the right section - Every time I pop my card reader into my mac - iphoto is the default that wants to import the photos. How do I change this? I tried to look in the system preferences for the mac but couldn't find it.

Go to the Image Capture application in your /Applications/ folder and then go to its preferences and change the application from there.
