Well, Thursday is a no go for me. I have a job interview in Atlanta and won't be able to make it to Flowery Branch. After being out of work for the past 4 months I'm hoping this pans out!

Yeah definitely! Glad you have your priorities in line (you gotta have money to buy gear, right?)... good luck!

Thanks! It's been 20 years since I interviewed for a job so I'm a little apprehensive but I should be ok.
Yeah, money for gear and 3 more UGA tickets!:lol: Which right now is looking like approx. $650 for three games:shock:, GSU,AL and UT! I have tix to the other 3 home games from a friend in Tampa who sold them to me for $150 and an autographed 16x20 shot of mine of Moreno. Getting that in the bag on Picture day at UGA on the 16th.

I am astounded at how much people have to pay for tickets to the games, though it doesn't really surprise me too much since not all the students get tickets. If you have any good ways to get tickets to one or two of the home games for cheaper... I don't care what the seats are, I just want to be able to invite my Dad up for a game.

I can get all 7 home games for about 60 bucks as a student, and then with the amount of hours I have Tech and Florida are achievable this year (I think $40 a piece for student tickets), though I don't know how a student goes about getting a non-student ticket. Sorry for that ramble...

Well, 2 years ago I got a season package for $350+$100 for the UGA/FU game, last year $550+$100 UGA/FU. This year is through the roof and reasonably so with the high expectations of the team. I'll probably end up around $800 total this year plus $100(I hope!) for the UGA/FU game. That beats the $1,200 and up cost people are trying to sell season tickets for!
Best prices I've found for tickets are HERE (external link) Best bet for price to get tickets for your Dad will be Central Michigan or Vandy(Homecoming) IMO.

~~~~~ For Sale ~~~~~
I have finally decided that I will not continue to photograph wildlife or landscapes at any real level that I need to hold on to some of my equipment. So it's time to unload whats not going to be used. And as you all know, this stuff is new and barely used. I will leave this post here for 3 days, if there is no interest in these items by then, I will be posting it to Craigslist and the Marketplace Sell thread here.
1.) Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM - $1,000.00 - $1,100.00
$1000.00 if committed to this within these 3 days I am listing it here. After that the price will be $1100.00. I used this lens to photograph the hummingbirds in my backyard, and then once to photograph the kite surfers at Tybee Island. I havent used this lens since and really dont plan on ever using it again. I took it to Tybee this week with me and never even took it out of the bag. I just have no need for this lens, especialy in my studio. =D This lens was purchased March 19th, 2008 with a UV filter which is included. I still have the box, carrying case, lens hood, lens cap, box, warrentee card, and users manual.
2.) Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM - $300.00 - $350.00
Same goes, if you commit within the 3 days to this item, I will let you have it for the $300.00, after that it is a firm $350.00. Just an insitive to move these quickly. I actually only used this lens one time, remember my wasp photo, well thats it. I have extenstion tubes but will be keeping these because I like using them with my 70-200. Again this is in perfect condition. Purchased March 19th, 2008 with UV which is included. Comes with warrentee card, users manual, and box.
3.) LowPro PhotoTrekker AWII - $200.00 - $225.00
Seriously if I am not going to be out humping it through the woods, then honestly I have no need for a bag this big, this heavy duty, and water tight. This bag was used heavily one time and this was when I visited Cummberland Island. Its like everything else is in perfect conditions. It's complete, what more can I say. It held all of my stuff, with a small amount of room to spare.
If you are interested in any of these items please contact me. If you seriously need photos, just hit me up or come by. But I think most here know that I havent been even shooting long enough for any of this stuff to have any wear and tear. But be assured, I baby my stuff.
You can private message me here, I get notification in my email that I recieved a message. Or you can just write me personally.
Dawn - please post your offer over on the ATL Fred Miranda site as well - there may be some local guys there that might want in on your deals. I'd uy the 100-400 if i didn't already have one... and the 100 2.8 if i didn't already have one... and the AW Photo Trekker if i didn't already have one...
why don't you sell something I don't already have for goodness sake!
Got to shoot with a 1Ds Mark III, a 1Ds Mark II, another 1 D Mark III, my Mark III
with the new 800mm, a 600mm, 500mm, 300mm 2.8, 100-400mm, 24-70mm and the 17-40mm - i was only disappointed in my arm strength after only 4 hours or so of hand holding these beasts over my head while trying to keep things framed. :)
I'll start shooting weddings when they start holding them on Wednesdays!
I didnt post it over there because few over there know me, so in reality, I figured it would be just like trying to sell it in the market place. Plus I wrote this knowing you all would know what I am talking about when I say "shot the kite surfers" and "used one time for a wasp" :lol:
And maybe if you didnt already have so much stuff, you could buy something! :p
