The first pic has been intentionally lightened to give retro look.

I think the shot with the best potential here is #5 - but only if you were to get down into a lower vantage point and shoot it with a perspective wherein the fenceposts extend higher than the tree line. As it is, either the tree line is too high or the posts are too short.

The dramatic sky and the tonal range really make this picture.
