Okay!! Just got off the phone with the company..there is definitely a difference in cameras! It is the 1DS Mark III but the difference is the camera body is PLASTIC, short life battery, and no battery charger.

Yea, this is about the oldest trick in the book, well, not that old but very common. It started popping up when this SLR craze began, and everyone wants an SLR for P&S prices, yet none of them know anything about SLRs. Just report that business to your state (if it's in your state, else check where and report it), and stay a mile way from them.
Their main thing is to sell you the "plastic version", and then offer an upgrade to metal one for a large margin over the street price. If you choose to stay with the "plastic" one, they either put you on indefinite hold, cancel your order (few do this), or just take your money and run (many do this).
