I went to Yosemite National Park this past weekend again, i love only being 2.5 hours away. Ive been there 4 or 5 times and each time I see something new and I haven't even made it out of the valley yet! Here are some of the shots that I took throughout the day, let me know what you think!!

i shot most of these with my xti and the sima 10-20, but i think i need to send to sigma to get it serviced because the focus on it has been really soft lately. It used to take much crisper photos before

You're one lucky dog to be so close to YNP! For me, it's a heckuva long drive for a day but one I've done more times than I care to mention. I too think some of the pics look a bit soft. But I really like no. 7.

A few comments about shooting in the park: Looks like these were taken during mid to late afternoon. Since you're so close, get out there for sunrise or sunset if you haven't already. That's when you get the best range of colors on granite, waterfalls, etc. And if you're not using one already, slap a polarizer on your lens. Your greens will be much improved over the greens in the tunnel view pics.

Please shoot and post more from this wonderful place.

You've got some beautiful shots! The sun from Glacier Point are just wonderful!

Great series. Too bad some of them are a bit soft. #5 looks really good though so I'm wondering if it really is a lens issue. Unfortunately your EXIF is not intact, that might reveal a bit more.

Also, I think some of these are a bit flat and would benefit from additional levels/curves adjustments.

Nice series. #2 is my favorite. Good use of the rocks for foreground, good textures and framing.

If I lived this close I'd stay broke buying gas going to the park. Certainly an excellent series but do agree on the sharpness. Seems some post processing sharpening would help.

Love number 2, where is that? Also 5, 6 & 7, all from Glacier Point, are very good. The others could be good with a little PP.

very good light play in shot #7. Nice series sans the obvious softness in most of them.

#5 is my fave - althought they are all great. Some do look a little soft on my screen though.
