Sorry - a little late posting these.

I finally got me accreditation and jumped the fence....never going back to the spectator side again.

Either your resizing technique needs some work or these are massively over-sharpened. They have jagged edges all over the place.

At least at Oran Park you guys got some decent "other categories" at Barbagallo we got local stuff.
Looks like you got F3 and National historic category.

Nice!!!!

Yeah i noticed - not the best. this was done in iPhoto not PSP. When adjusted in photoshop they are fine.

Little dark mate.

I'll pull the originals back out and adjust the levels... thanks for the feedback peoples

Cheers
Brendan

Great shots, I especially like that pan (#6). I also know exactly how you feel, I wouldn't trade in my business for the world. It is unfortionate however that Oran Park have surprisingly tight security for the media, a lot of messing around is involved to get in there, but it's worth it's while :)

There was talk last year that Oran Park might be being sold to the government and replaced with more development, hopefully this never happens, Oran Park has an amazing history.

I also noticed this before I noticed anything else.

Oran Park has already been sold for housing development. Originally it was to be closed at the end of 2008, with the V8 supercars as the last hoorah, but now the track will remain open until 2010.

Supposedly it will only be hosting private events, and no more club racing though. It's a shame. It's the track I grew up with, both as an official and as a competitor.

Ive heard that the track will be open for club and track days until the end of next year. Private events from then after, but also other areas like figure-8 and 4wd track will be open until end of 2010 aswell.

They are a bit dark and jaggedy, something went wrong resizing I think. Maybe you could repost them and in a little higher res, allowed up to 1000px now. Shots are nice but if it was a raceday it would be good to show some racing, i.e more than 1 truck or car in the frame :) cheers
