Found this one on my Lemon tree today. Assuming a type of wasp. Looked for about 40 mins at Bug Guide, couldn't find a match. It was about an inch long. Notice the abdm. has yellow stripes that turn to a pale/white near the stinger area. Anyone have any ideas?

I am in So Cal.
Thanks.. Bruce

My best guess is a California Horntail, but the coloring isn't exactly right. Nice shots BTW
