cool....I like the first one better b/c the ring is in focus. I don't know - if you could get some kind of photoshopped "glow" around the ring using another layer, it could be cool. Or too cheesey depending on how it's done, haha!

I quite like the second one... I find that there's note quite enough definition between the hand and face in the first.

Noted. What I really wanted was a more shallow DOF, but there's only so much you can do with a lens with a max aperture of f4. :(

Nice work! I'd love to have one of those myself. I like #2, but I'd like to see it with focus on the hand/ring rather than the head.
