looks pretty real. altho the top contours is very unlike any of the existing EOS bodies, wierd shaped prism top too... to have almost the same megapixel size sensor as the 1DS is... pleasantly unexpected.

I think the rounded top, compared to the squared off one in the official Canon teaser kinda gives it away.

the close up of the 7D badge is a very good shop if it's shopped.

I have had a close look at the 2nd picture and found it to be a really good fake. Meaning I don't think it is.

The logo on the 50D and the 40D are printed. However the same logo on the 5D, 1Dmk3 and the 1Dsmk3 are all rasied, just like the 7D. Since the 7D has the 21.1mp sensor then its very on the cards that the photo is real.

to be sure, someone with the skills and the time would be able to create a fake. However being so close to release date, it's unlikely. The best time to do such a fake would have been months ago.

Anyway if you look at the attached photo (which comes from a canon promo site) you can see that the first picture, the look of the top of the camera looks the same.

These indeed could be real.

^^ I totally agree. At first glance, it looks like a fake, but I think this is because of the lighting. Looks pretty real to me, and I'm excited!
