"Delighting You Always..." ??

Can anyone confirm this is actually the marketing phrase in a specific corner of the world?

I've seen it used in some Asia Pacific ads but I can't seem to find a reference or an example. It seems real to me.

One vote for it being real.

Why not?

I think Canon needs two new FF right now.

So after such a good "fake"?, why didnt they get the buttons to look more real? strange...

I dont think it is such a good fake, its ok but theres errors as pointed out

also if you look at the blown up 7D photo the 7 is slightly smaller than the D
but on the main shot the 7 looks the same scale or lightly larger

Its possible the 7D is real but I dont think the pictures shown are of it

It says "DIGIC IV" and not "DiG!C IV", that could be a tip-off.

Okay... at first it appears to be a good fake, but it's just a picture of a 5D!!! It also doesn't have the updated hot shoe;) I attached a diagram I made:p

All these evidence of fake (no hotshoe, 7D badge, possible buttons) not matching up to teaser pics. Even tho I think we still don't know how many FF's are coming out.

what a waste of a thread,
well not really, at least i can say, "its safe to say those pics are fake when I encounter them for the next 3 weeks"

I cant wait to see whats going to happen.

:D

Because I think you all have that...

I dunno which is worse:

Measurebating an actual camera

-OR-

Measurbating a possibly fictitious advertisement for a camera that may or may not actually exsist.

On second thought, I do know which is worse...

If it is fake... why torture us even more? It must be somebody sadistic... or a really good Canon behind-the-scenes marketing strategy.

There is probably a Japanese Canon executive on this forum feeding us baseless rumours.
