Hi everyone, came across this little guy today and took a couple of snapshots that I think came out ok, but would like to know its ID. I'll appreciate anyone's help ID'ing this guy. I had called the first one "Ojo a Ojo" which is spanish for "Eye to Eye". Thanks for looking.

Holy cr@p, if those are your ok snapshots, what are your good pictures like?

Excellent work, Sir.

Sorry, but I can't identify your brand of spanish fly I'm afraid.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Thanks Racketman for the reference link, it will come in handy in future shots. Thanks Bryce for confirming the ID.

Hi Sandpiper, had to say this is an ok shot because it just happened so quick; saw the subject on a dry branch, ran to the house to get the camera and had only a few seconds to snap a couple of shots before it flew away. Perhaps I got lucky, and by everyone's comments, I guess I did better than ok, really appreciate that. I am still at the bottom part of the learning curve with the MP-E65 and MT-24EX, but really admire some of the work here from the Macro Gurus.
