GRRRRRRRR that stupid color wheel thingy sucks the big wazoo. A simple slider please. "Try to go out empty and let your images fill you up." Jay Maisel

Like Canon, they play it safe and it'll basically the same thing, but with some small improvements. like the 5DII's name. I was lol-ing every time I heard 3D/7D mentioned... I knew they weren't going to do that, come on!

Hmmmmm, interesting Rene, I'm so used to ACR that the color wheel makes me nuts. The color temp and tint sliders make sense to me, the wheel doesn't. Another reason I'm not fond of DPP is it takes forever to process an image, ACR is a lot faster. "Try to go out empty and let your images fill you up." Jay Maisel

The wheel givess an overall view, just to get you in the ball park.

Sep 20, 2008 16:01 | #11 I think I've seen reference to DPP 3.5 somewhere among the new product announcements. It may be required to take advantage of one or more of the new features of the 5D or 50D. Likely to be posted by Canon about a month after the new cameras appear on the market, if past history is a guide.
