One of the best shots of these i've seen in awhile, awesome. Usually they perch in areas where its difficult to seperate the background and they tend to get a bit lost in it all.

I used the 70-200mm L lens. Tried with the 100mm but would not let me near enough. I think it works well with that lens.

Hi Brian - oh yes, the 70-200 is a great DF lense. I would say that 98% of the time thats the one I would normally use for DF shots, it never lets me down. Its only when I know I can get closer that I will use the 100mm macro (or if thats the one on the camera and I dont have time to change it I will risk taking the pics with it anyway and crop in).
