If you go up one end of the lake in London's St James's Park, there's a view down toward the other end that I've been trying to capture for a couple of years now. As you peer through the trees, down the lake and across the bridge, you can see what's sometimes called the "fairy castle" - actually just a jumble of roofs belonging to different buildlings. No camera that I've owned nor post-processing software that I've used has given me anything like the result I wanted until I tried the combination of the Canon 40D and its 17-85 kit lens plus Lightroom 2.
