Nah, it's still ducks. The memo was retracted. Didn't you get the note? :)

I didn't have time to track down the often hard to find 'duck' but I will give it a try tomorrow. The one thing I have noticed right away is how slow this camera writes files to the card in raw format. My 1dMK3 is a speed demon comparatively. ;) It could also be because I have a cheap 16 GB card in it as well.I ordered a new Sandisk Extreme so I will see if that makes a difference. What a great camera! I forgot how I missed having a full frame.:D

try the Ducati version. My Extreme IV can't keep up some time in burst mode when using 1ds mk III. :)

Yes, very similar!:D I think I have my 40D sold, should know tomorrow. Then all I will have is these clunky 1D bodies...;)

It is slow writing RAW files to the card, but remember, they're twice the size of the 1DIII files. I use an Extreme IV card in mine, and it's still slow.

Yeah, I'll have to try one. I think you are right it's not going to help much....the trade off for the wait is worth it.:D
