Can anyone living in the Indianapolis area recommend a class for photography. Something to teach an old guy the ins and outs of composition and exposer?

Because you have a descriptive title, you can look at the "Similar Threads" links at the bottom-left of this page!
Each link you visit should provide more links at the bottom.

Here are a couple of places that I know of in Indy:

IUPUI offers some good classes also, click on Course Catalog:
https://www.cln.iupui.edu …alog/index.asp?site=IUPUI (external link) Click on Photography..

J Everett Light Career Center offers some basic classes too:
http://www.ed2go.com …?name=jelcc&dept=DP&path= (external link)

The JELCC classes are good intro classes that give you a basic explanation of a lot of areas, camera operation, exposure, lighting, composition etc, good basic class.
The IUPUI classes are part of the Continuing ED, so you don't have to be a full time student. Look for classes taught by Karen Bowling, she teaches a good class on lighting and composition.
