Really? This was via UPS Mail Innovations? I never had a good experience when it gets sent to the USPS. Basically UPS picks up the package and hands it off to the USPS. To the other poster that will get it ship via FedEx, you'll probably get it faster than most people.

I mailed my rebate on Monday, the 6th and last night I checked the Sandisk rebate https://www.web-rebates.com/sandisk/ (external link) page and they already have it as being received. That's not only a good sign, but compared to the time line from previous rebates, amazing.

The SanDisk rebate form (external link) linked from the Adorama page for the 16GB CF Extreme III has Product ID SDCFX3-016GR as being valid while the Adorama product page (external link) says you are buying SDCFX3-016GA31.

Their page does clearly advertise the rebate for this item. Is the slightly different Product ID going to be a problem for the rebate? I've seen posts regarding SanDisk rebate woes.

I wish I had seen this earlier. My 3 8-GB cards arrived today with the same "A31" vs. "R" issue.

I emailed Adorama and received an auto-reply that they are closed until 10/23. Has anybody had any luck receiving the rebate on the "A31" cards, and if so, how did you fill out the PID on the form?

I really WANT to keep these... Thanks!

that's why i keep the screen shot of adorama website to prove as evidence.

Yeah, I wish I had a screen cap. Adorama included the link to the rebate form in the order confirmation email, so I suppose I'm OK. So now I just need to figure out which product ID to use - the one referenced in the rebate or the one on the box.
