I called the Sandisk rebate center (Talked to Laura) and inquired about the last 3 digits of the upc codes. She told me that they look at the receipts and it must say "Extreme III" for that item and not to worry about it.

I did ask if those last three digits were used for production reasons and she had no clue.

I too got my cards from Adorama and I wouldn't worry about the codes. Adorama name is listed on the rebate form and Sandisk should honor the rebate.

This thread started with a rebate that ended on 10/11/08. I don't know if they have another one going or not. At the time, Adorama seemed to have one of the better prices.

Yeah, I'm kicking myself for not stocking up, still looking for 8GB Ultra3s but i'm not spending $60 each on em when I know another rebate is bound to pop up as we get closer to Christmas.

I got mine in the mail yesterday. No problems and a rather quick turn around for a rebate. A great deal.

Woohoo got my $100 yesterday, promptly spent it on some insulated hunting boots to hunt for pictures of wildlife! That and they recommend not holding onto them for long with the economy the way it is...
