Gee can I play? Guessing across three factors are pretty difficult (body, ISO, and software (lightroom in the above example)) and not quite worth the exercise unless you are somebody that does ISO tests across different bodies through different software for a living. For example, doubt too many could guess this below.... shot raw, converted using raw converter, then did use a bit of noiseware, but nothing extravagant. (answer: 30D@6400)

I find "same conditions, different bodies, range of ISO" threads more entertaining. And on the first post, was it shot Raw or sRaw? Just curious about the 100% crop vs the overall image. I would guess 50D at ISO3200 myself, I think.

Does this thread have a point? I think I'm missing it.

The only point the thread has is the lack of understanding of the connection between exposure, ISO and noise.

Cornflakes are usually best enjoyed with milk, though orange juice can be substituted if you're feeling adventurous!

OMG ISO12800!!!!!! I'm gonna buy one first thing this morning.
Btw, mind telling us why you're posting a crop from a 2500x1660 picture and claiming it's a 100% crop from a 4752 x 3168 ?
Also mind telling us the numbers for Exposure and Brightness in LR along with Shutter speed ? It's not -1 , 0 and 1/2000 is it ?

You sure there's no Color noise NR going on?
Perhaps lightroom has default settings? I know ACR does...color noise setting at 25 unless you zero it out.

Looks good though.

I'm guessing Canon PowerShot SD400 at ISO 200.;)

Are there many things more annoying than someone inviting you to guess something and then promptly leaving the thread - and not bothering to check the responses?

Guess what camera, lens and settings I used!

I already guessed, I just thought this photo was appropriate, in accordance with some of the posts above me. :P
