That's really nice Perry.

It's a great lens for flowers in terms of perspective isolation, add a tube if you need to get a little close. Here is another:

What an amazing lens this is! I got mine a few days ago, and have only taken a few "test shots" (around the Nidaros Dome here in Trondheim, Norway) with it, but love it already. It's nearly, or maybe even just as, good as the 135L.

The test shots turned out OK, so I post some of them here just to keep this thread alive. :) All taken with 5D. #1, 3 and 5 are at f/4, and #2 and 4 are at f/2.8.

Looks great. I love the saturation that comes from this lens and the 5D.

Thank you! Yes, it's great on 5D. Sadly, I will probably use it more on the 450D though (for extra reach). It's fine on that camera too, but 5D is special.

This is truely a great lens (overlooked in so many ways).

I am considering getting a 70-200 2.8L IS though. To use indoors with event shoots and the flexibility of that lens (plus IS) helps in those situations. However, for street photography or occasions where FL flexiblity isn't needed. This lens is a constant favourite.

Here's a rare Stealthy Ninja NON-candid.
