....or anything moving for that matter. I was having trouble with the clouds moving in/out all day and the only sharp pics I seemed to be able to get came when the sun was directly hitting top or bottom of the jet (as in pic #1). Shots where the nose of the jet was flying toward the sun came out a little soft. I was shooting at 1/800 or faster at ISO200 to keep roughly f/8.0. Any advice on how to get a lot more of my shots sharp next time...or is this probably more of a problem with my panning?

Perfect light on 1 and 4. Print them very large and enjoy...

2 = Excellent closeup showing the details. Closest most will ever get for several years I'm sure...

3 = Nice to see the enlisted get some love but to the uninitiated eye, he's facing the wrong way. (You and I know there's another jet just out of frame camera right but most folks would be scratching their heads...)

Nice shots. I was there for 6 weeks in 1970, but I didn't get to see the airshow!

# 1 is beyond fantastic! The rest are great, but #1 would be poster size and on my wall had I taken it!
