If the picture is being displayed as a sample of your work either posted on the web or placed in a store front, then I like the picture that has the watermark on the picture itself. It makes it much less likely someone would take the pic for their own use. If the picture is meant as the final product being delivered to a customer, then I like the framed one. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Right click protection is defected in 2 seconds by turning Javascript off. Flash viewers still rely on jpg files, and they're in common locations, so they're generally easy enough to get as well. Proxy server logs are an easy way to do it. It's best to assume people will get the files, and they will want to print or steal them.
