The LCD is amazing and the auto focus is great. I also like the live view and this will be useful in crowd situations. The new menu setup is very nice. The LCD is a very much needed update!!! I tested out the higher ISO handling in the store and was very pleased. -KMc-

I used the 50D over the weekend and shot a few hundred shots with it and all I can say is I am very impressed! The menus are much better designed then on the 30D. The LCD is amazing and the zoom function makes checking focus on a shot possible. The metering seems more accurate than on my 30D. So far I am very pleased and I would recommend this camera to anyone who has one of the older xxD series. http://www.pbase.com/dvan

But now using the camera the LCD is really significantly better and one of the main things I love about this camera. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
