Neil Howard Memorial Stages Rally - 2008

Some pics from the above rally at Melbourne Airfield, York. Great rallying but bizarre weather conditions, left home from Malton with about 3 inches of snow and totally white over and within 2 hours there was no snow and bright sunshine. All comments welcome.

A real mixed bag of weather and light for you to contend with .
4 is my favourite ,but several others are outstanding .
What was the breakdown of lenses this time ,s'il vous plait ?

Many thanks Pons. All were shot using the 70-200 but #1-3 had a 1.4 x converter on

nice shot Darren, think i met you at Olivers mount last week me and my son was there most of the day sadly could not make York as i am camera less at the mo...:(

Brilliant set Darren, the whites are very good, did you use any filters on the lens, hard to pic fav maby #5, also like the mk 1

Many thanks Jim. No filters at all on the lens but slight level adjustments on Photoshop.

hi darren well i had sold the camera on ebay and that was the last time i could use it as i am upgrading it next weekend and looking for a new lens

#3, #7 and #8 out of this lot Darren. Like the stance of the car in #3 a lot and of course being able to see the crew helps a lot. Might have been tempted to crop it slightly to get rid of the tyre at the bottom of the frame.
