wow. I just bought this camera for my wife.. I am excited that it can produce images like this... now I am sure my wife won't be shooting in a studio.. but this still says a lot

These photos should be sold to Canon for advertising the G series.

I'm more impressed by your models skin & lighting than the G9, but I like the point you've made.

Fine detail and colour reproduction aside, the general appearance of the photo is outstanding. It's much more about the light than the camera.

nope... it's never the camera..
but it's not the photographer either... it's the photographer plus the money he spent on the lighting equipment!! :lol:

The G9 -- from the beginning I knew it was a powerful camera. Match it with good lighting a studio, you can and will produce images like these. Great work and thank you so much for showing people that higher end cameras will not bring you better images in general.
