Now I must ask a noob question or six. I've been ulcering over trying to sell a kidney to purchase a 40D and the MPE-65. Now I see you've pulled off similar scale images with a combination of lenses.

Could someone comment on this? What am I missing? I can see there are sharpness differences at high magnification, but I won't really be at anything like 3-5x.

Anyone have a flashlight to shine upon this?

Christian

Except 1 and 7, which were 1.7X, the rest were either 1X or smaller. If you don't need 3 - 5X, i think the best way would be a 1:1 macro lens and a full set of extension tubes :). That will get you to 2:1.
