Some shots of my friends and coworkers (AB400 + 580EX II)

Hi everyone,

Been a while since I posted anything here, but I love what I've been seeing!

Here are a few pictures I took last week of some of my friends and coworkers. Taken with my 40D, 28-70 2.8L and the strobes mentioned in the title. We had fun taking them, so I hope you like them. Thanks in advance for looking!

they are GREAT!!! I like the last one the best..hahaha! awesome series.

They are all really good, but that last one made me laugh out loud. Very nice work with the light, poses, and expressions, especially the dogs.

Thanks! Glad you both liked the dog picture... some people have been saying that there's a bit of an American Gothic vibe going on with that one.

Thank you! Yes, we took them at work as part of a "visual organization chart" I'm putting together for one of our walls. That way newbies can look at it and put faces to names in a quick and fun way.

great work...nice lighting... I need to do my dogs

Some really great shots and overall good lighting. I find their to be a couple of harsh shadows on the faces of the first and second pic that I find kind of distracting. But other than that I like the series, especially the poses.

Thank you! Yep, this is the problem with stationary lights and subjects of different shapes, sizes and heights, all wanting to stand differently and not on the mark I put on the floor. As much as I tried, since these were just for a fun work project, I let them do whatever they wanted. Getting some fun poses/expressions was more important than perfect light positioning (man, how I would love to be able to control all of this remotely).
