Sorry that I don't post more or hang out as much as I'd like...I've just been swamped.

I thought I'd share a recent shoot of a lovely young lady.

Here is one of her pages for her senior book.

The rest of the book can be seen here. The "cover" image looks like it has a bunch of negative space around the outside but that is to allow for the image to wrap around the hard bound cover. The book is a 10"x10" hard bound. I design everything on a spread.

Thanks so much everyone!

As I was building my craft I spent days on the forums not only researching to learn the technical side of what I do but also for inspiration from others. Even though I don't get to post much I do always pop in and look around at the great work that is here and on another forum I'm a member of.

I'll answer a couple of questions that were asked in another forum for those here who might have had the same thoughts.

As far as are these templates the answer is yes and no, I used Photoframe 4 for the frames and a few of the layouts. I then actually took some of the frames and layouts and tore them apart in photoshop to make them a bit more of my own.

With respect to the images and them being in the book more than once, I agree, the challenge is to balance my vision and what the client wants. The client requested specific images during our viewing session, even though some of the images were almost identical they still wanted them in the book. I have a few more pages to do so watch the link and refresh your cache as I hope I am done tonight.

Thank you very much...one of the things I struggle with is wondering if my work is really any good. Of course you get clients who say they like it and when I show it to friends they say nice things.....It is a very appreciated thank you when your piers like your work.

Again thanks!

I'll post some more work in a day or two.

These books look very nice. Are you creating them all in Photoshop then?

Wow, really nice shots, great design.
One question, did you post a duplicate duplicate  on pages e and f? The one on the left side of both spreads, but the one on page f looks like a little tighter crop and tilted, but the same shot...Am I wrong?
Great work nonetheless!

edit: DOH! Read FAIL!
I should have read your post before I posted. Now I'm the one posting a duplicate duplicate question question...

Good catch...that might actually be the exact same shot...they are so close it is hard to tell. I'll double check it before I send it to the printer. I have two more pages to do.

Yes I do all of the work in Photoshop (some tweaking in the raw conversion in Lightroom). I have a ton of plug-ins and actions I use as well.
